His stupid duel axes always get me more times than not. The problem is that all the weapons (even the new ones in EX) do the same amount of damage, meaning that the sickle, which is the fastest, is pretty much always the best choice. You are also able to find secondary items, such as the orbiting blue fairy or the double jump boots. Finding powerups will lend you new weapons, such as the multi-hit daggers and boomerang-like sickle. Only thing I can think of is it will only pop if you get the Champion or better ending but I don't see why that would matter unless there is another section after the final boss if you beat the game using less than 3 continues.Īrmored Death is my biggest obstacle to beating the game without using continues. The gameplay in Cursed Castilla EX is old school with a bit of new school convention thrown in. Sucks man guess I'll have to do it again but does anyone know why this Achievement isn't popping? I didn't kill any of them during chapter 7 either both runs. I went on to beat the game getting the bad ending but didn't use any continues.
Actually quite annoyed as I didn't get the Crystal Ball in the swamp because I didn't want to even fire any weapons with them on the screen and forgot it was in the box at the end of their screen. I beat the game with level 8 but using more than 4 continues but it didn't pop and then I just now beat it with the bad ending and it didn't pop.
